| Hi! My name is Bonnie East. I have been riding for over 20 years and have spent the last 14 years involved in the equestrian discipline of eventing, which includes dressage, cross-country jumping and stadium jumping. In addition to riding, I've been actively involved with eventing in several other capacities. I was fortunate to serve two separate terms as the President of the Wasatch Range Eventing Association and have held other board positions as well. I was the editor of the Mountain States Eventing Association Omnibus (calendar of events and prize lists) for two years. I served as the organizer of the Pegasus Horse Trials in 2002 and 2004, and have run a Combined Test series over the summers of 2004 - 2007. I am currently finalizing my licensing as a Technical Delegate for eventing and should be licensed in April of 2008. I have taught riding lessons on a part-time basis over the past ten years. I enjoy seeing the progress of an individual and their horse. Although the primary emphasis of my riders is showing, I enjoy teaching the principles of safe and effective riding to anyone interested.
